Sunny Lane Funeral Home & CemeteryOur Loving Brother Morris Wayne Koonce Passed away on January, 3, 2024 died at the young age of 59. He was born in Galveston, TX on October, 1, 1965 to the parents of John Morris Koonce and Sandra Kay Koonce. The family moved to Oklahoma City in 1973 Morris and graduated from Douglass High school in 1984. Morris was a hard worker and worked at the Staybridge Suites in OKC. He was loved by many. He always put others first and was willing to go out of his way to make sure others were happy and took care of them and willing to help in any way possible. He is survived by his sisters; Zelma Smith (Don Smith), Patsy Koonce, Carolyn Lyles, brother in law, niece Heavenly Lamb (Russell Lamb), nephew Christian Brock , great nephews; Aries, Aiden , Jeremiah Lamb all who he loved so much. Lots of aunts Nikkie Alfred, Gina Chapman, uncles; Rick Sowers , Bud Allred, Bobby Allred, Benny Koonce and cousins and friends. Morris will be missed by many but never forgotten. He is preceded in death by his parents; Sandra Koonce, John Koonce and grandparents Oelta Koonce, Emmet Koonce, Charles Snow, Zelma Snow, Ida Snow, aunt; June Sowers and Bobbie Allred.

A visitation for Morris will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home.
