It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Mitchell of Del City, Oklahoma, born in Hanna, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Sam P. Mitchell; his stepmother Elouise Mitchell; his brothers, Frank and Jimmy Mitchell; his stepsister Alpha Jean Barnes; and his aunts and uncles, Hannah Tiger, Nellie West, Mary Davis, Martha Ned, Josie, Jimmy, Johnny Mitchell and Henry McNac.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Johnson; his stepdaughter Allison Johnson of Midwest City; his stepgrandson Michael; and his brother Simon Mitchell of Wetumka.
