She is survived by: her husband Ricky Jo Short; her children, Mistie Pollard, Shawn Short, Jack Short and Jeana Short Boyd; and her siblings, Carla Meason, Deb King and Ernest Ellison. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
