He was predeceased by: his mother Viola Mae Rowland (Brown); his wives, Naomi Sue Rowland (Jones) and Shirley Viles Rowland; his father Virgil Rowland; and his siblings, James, Leroy Rowland, Wanda and Wilma Rowland.
He is survived by: his children, David L. Rowland (Prestene V.), Karen R. Wilcox (Charles) and Keith B. Rowland; his grandchildren, John Rowland (Danielle), Jessica Pittman, Jason Rowland (Nicole), Jana Moreno (TJ), Jennifer Rowland, Tyler Wilcox (Stephanie), Samuel Wilcox (Bobbi) and Kaitlyn Smith; and his brother Burl E. Rowland (DeNeil). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
