He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eldo Nickels and Mary Leveda Nickels (Steelman); his granddaughter Mallory; and his brother-in-law Danny Jones. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Stewart (Zachary) of Ft. Benning, Georgia and Bradley Nickels (Tera) of Shawnee; his grandson Anthony; his pets, Andrew and Blaine Block; and his siblings, Patti Jones of Blanchard, Margie Armstrong (Gary) of Newalla and Chris Bennett (Amanda) of Mustang.
