It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aliene Gale Thornton of Duncan, Oklahoma, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gale Marshall and Johnaphine Marshall (Harkness). She is survived by: her husband Hal; her son-in-law Billy Strawn; her children, Gale (Max Floyd) of Duncan, Russell (Susan Thornton) of Duncan and Peggy Strawn of Duncan; and her grandchildren, Sarah Bradley of Oklahoma City, Emily Floyd of Duncan, Zachary (Kristen Thornton) of Piedmont, Scott (Kristi Thornton) of Duncan and Morgan (Matt McGinley) of Midwest City. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
