He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Minnie Elizabeth Jackson and Bowen; his daughter Gayla Jackson; and his son-in-law Dale Eberhart. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lavell Jackson; his children, Rick Jackson (Cindy) of Ochelata, Mike Jackson (Tami) of Duncan, Oklahoma and Balinda Eberhart of Central High, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Buddy Jackson (Linda) of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Jean Fielding of Burkburnett, Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
