He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Monroe and Lillian Daisy Barton (Hice); and his siblings, Nathan Barton (Lula) of Kingfisher, John Barton, Mary Davis and Juanita Fay Fleetwood.

He is survived by: his sisters, Norma Cowley and Sharon Williams.
