He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Cecil and Alva Theo Dearen (Wilson); and his former wife Laura Mae Dearen (Brazeal). He is survived by: his grandsons, Ronnie Pitezel, Jeff Swanson, John James, Brandon Sanner, Jimmy Sanner, Blakely Sanner, Ray James, Ronnie Green, Rev. Jonathan Smith and Larry Sanner; his wife Betty Jane Orr; his children, Cheryl (Ray James) of Sapulpa, Paul (Barbara Dearen) of Albuquerque, Steve Dearen of Sapulpa, Cindy (Larry Sanner) of Velma, Debbie (Ronnie Green) of Sulphur and Rev. Jonathan Smith of Ravia; his grandchildren, Sheila (Jeff Swanson), Christy (Ronnie Pitezel), Candi Moran, Charissa Sumka, Kaz Tolbert, Kaylee (Zack Morse), Misty (Tanner Hinton), Linzy (Cody Officer), Jeremiah (Teresa Smith), Brittinii (Shawn Deen), Kolton (Julia Tolbert), Nash Tolbert and Aspyn Tolbert; and his brothers, Donald Ray Dearen of Westminster and Garry Dearen of Lake Havasu, Arizona.. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
