He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Newman and Rosemary Newman Morales (Ballew); his siblings, Carol Newman and Robert; his siblings-in-law, Cova Newman and Fred Hakimipour; his parents-in-law, Lou and Joelle Brox; his brother-in-law Kenny Brox; and his great-nephew Jacob Eschiti.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Brox; his children, Michael Ray (Huong Mai Newman), Mark Auston (Annye Newman) and Melissa Diane (Matthew Krause); his grandchildren, Chelsea Newman, Linus Newman, Haley Newman, Brett Newman (Brooke), Garrett Krause, Gage Krause and Gracie Krause; his sisters, Connie Hakimipour, Jane (Raymond Miles) and Laura (Marshall Clevenger); and his in-laws, Julie Brox, Diane, Dan Mullins, Steve and Katie Brox. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and numerous cousins and loving friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Assembly of God (700 W Plato Rd, Duncan, OK 73533).
