He is survived by: his parents, Linda Pinkerton of Mustang and Leland Pinkerton; his wife Lisa Ann Goodpasture Pinkerton of Duncan; his son Mathew Pinkerton (Andrea) of Bray; his grandchildren, Aaron and Thea; his son James Pinkerton (Danielle) of Duncan; his grandchildren, Andrew, Alisa and Asa; his siblings, Jeff Pinkerton (Joe Taylor), Julie (Lonnie Hascall), Joe (Amy Pinkerton), Tim (Jill Goodpasture) and Greg (Sharon Goodpasture); Jack and Fran Goodpasture. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Honoring his selflessness, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ and tissue donation through the organization LIFE SHARE.
