He is survived by: his wife Paulette Françoise Muriel Allard; his children, Jocelyne Hughes-Ostrowski (Jeremy) of Cochrane, Alberta, Carey Renée Hughes and John Mitchell of Leander, Texas; his grandchildren, Justine Hughes-Ostrowski of Victoria, British Columbia, Jarrett Ostrowski (Stephanie) of Calgary, Alberta and Evan Mitchell of Leander, Texas; and his siblings, Thomas Hughes (Diane) of Ponoka and Carol Potts (Allen Schierman).
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Church (711 W Hickory Ave, Duncan, OK 73533). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery (1910 W Cypress Ave, Duncan, OK 73533).
