Dixie will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Dixie by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Dixie is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Dixie’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Ann Grant and Charles John Grant; and her brother Charles John Grant, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Gary Lee Collins of Duncan; and her siblings, William Samson Grant of Azle and Valerie Ann Grant of Los Angeles. She is also survived by six nieces, and two nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Service (415 W Main St, Marlow, OK 73055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Marlow Cemetery (905 N Ash St, Marlow, OK 73055).
