He was predeceased by: his parents, JB Chisum and Opal Chisum; his siblings, Wayne Chisum, Bill Chisum, Gerald Chisum and Pearlie Beck; his son Tommy Chisum; his grandsons, Toby Sweat and Jeremy Sweat; and his great grandchild Gavin Sweat.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Chisum of Duncan; his sister Nancy Chisum of Del City; his children, Don Chisum Jr. of Purdy and Telisa; his son-in-law Woodrow Sweat of Rush; his daughters, Delana Green of Duncan and Amanda; and his son-in-law Mitch West of Geronimo. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchildren, a multitude of nieces, and nephews.
