She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie H George and Gertrude George (Burkleo); her siblings, Viola Barber, Gerold George, James (Peggy George) and Aarman (Peggy George); and her siblings' children, Larry George, Toby Norton, Roy Allen George and Stacy George.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Sheppeard; her daughters, Rhonda (David Fullerton) of Duncan, OK, Dana Owens (Harry Frasher) of Duncan, OK and Teresa (Harley Willcox) of Malakoff, TX; her grandson Jarrod Owens of Tulsa, OK; and her siblings, William George of Duncan, OK, Ruth Norton, Carolyn Phillips of Duncan, OK, Laura Williams and Linda Bates of Chickasha, OK.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home (1316 Oak Ave, Duncan, OK 73533). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Assembly of God (5450 W Beech Ave, Duncan, OK 73533).
