It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Wayne Bates of Duncan, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father David; and his brother Dennis Bates. He is survived by: his wife Linda Baker; his sons, Jason Bates (Lori) of Broken Arrow, David Bates (Kathy) of Interlachen and Stephen Bates of Broken Arrow; his sister Donna Bridgman (Larry) of Duncan, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Christian Bates (Cheri), Christina Bates, Claudia Bates, Sarah Bates and Corrie Bates; and his great grandchild Emory Rose Bates.
