He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orval Wheeler and Omega Whitley Wheeler; his wife Barbara; his daughters, Robin Wheeler of Duncan and Nita (Tim Johnson) of Elmore City; and his grandchildren, Blake Dressler (Beka), Abigail (Daniel Ballard), Rachel (Colton Ballard), Sarah (Ryan Rochell), Elizabeth Johnson, Kyle Johnson (Callie) and Ryan Johnson (Logan). He was also cherished by seventeen great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Gerald's honor to Bethel Assembly of God Church.
