He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Ray and Elva Johns (Campbell); his children, William Bump, Jerry Bump and Debbie Telfer; his grandson Chris Wilkinson; and his siblings, Edward Johns and Virginia Glover.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Taylor; his daughters, Theresa Rachal of Duncan and Audrey Robertson of Woodward; and his sister Opal Hall of Mustang. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
