He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Wilson and Violet Wilson (McDonald); his son Jeffrey Michael Wilson; and his siblings, Dave Wilson and Carol Yurko.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shepard; his daughter Shelley; his son-in-law Scot Keenan of Comanche; his grandchildren, Paul of Duncan, Stephanie Davis of Duncan, Dallas Lassley of Duncan, Logan Lassley of Duncan and Bryttni Brennan of Duncan; his great grandchild Jaydyn Gary Franklin Davis; and his siblings, Larry Wilson of Spring, Texas and Joann Wilson of Spring, Texas..
