She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Dalton and Tinney Dalton; her husband James Cathey; her stepson James Harold Cathey; her daughter Vickie Berryhill; her siblings, Genevea Ritter, Cleta Smith, Charles Dalton and Jerry Dalton; and her son-in-law Donald Sanford.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Daniel (Tletta Cathey), Donna Carol Cathey, Jerry Gordon and Sheila Dianna Sanford (William John Trotter); and her sisters, Bobbie McDonald and Margie Wise. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
