He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Atchley and Violet Atchley (Messer); and his siblings, Jerry, Veda and Oleta.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Atchley; his sons, Andy Atchley (Karri) and Jody Atchley (Tamra); his grandchildren, Klint Atchley (Sandra), Kolt Atchley, Caleb Atchley (Kaitlyn), Kourtney Atchley Brown (Jacob), Payton Atchley and Taylor Atchley; and his great grandchildren, Judah and Micah Atchley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
