It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Alexander Gloriod in Duncan, Oklahoma, born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur and Stella Gloriod (Smith); and his siblings, John Gloriod, Pete Gloriod, Paul Gloriod, Sue Gloriod and Mary Jo Villwock.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Gloriod (Mary) of The Woodlands, Jean Anne Gloriod of Montgomery, Nancy Jones (Lance) of Duncan and Jamie Gloriod of Perth, Australia; his grandchildren, Jeff Gloriod (Ashley), Thad Gloriod (Haven), Landon Jones, Carter Jones and Noah Jones; and his great grandchildren, Savanna Gloriod, Brynlee Gloriod, Adalynn Gloriod, Jet Gloriod and Hazel Gloriod. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
