He is survived by: his wife Melissa Lee Baker; his sons, James Franks (Jennifer) of Norman, OK and Andrew Franks of Piedmont, OK; his grandchildren, Lauren Franks, Connor Franks, Samuel Franks, Thomas Franks, John Isaac Franks, Joseph Franks, Dale Franks and Edward Franks; his sisters, Cecilia Samuels and Rowena Gray; and his siblings-in-law, Angela Steely, Debbie Cochran, Mary Satterwhite, Steve Cochran and John Satterwhite. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Whitt Funeral Home (4748 US-81, Duncan, OK 73533). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery (1910 W Cypress Ave, Duncan, OK 73533).
