He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe H. Schwartz and Marion Schwartz; his sister Freida Joyce Smithey; and his niece Viola Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Newman of Duncan; his daughter Crystal; his son-in-law Dr. Billy Elkins of Owensboro, KY; his grandchildren, Billy III (Stephanie Elkins), Reagan (Madison Elkins) and Noah (Alice Elkins); his nieces, Beverly Rackler (Michael) and Peggy Reavis; his nephew Roy D. Smithey; his friend Patrick Norton; his nephew Mark Newman; and also, Wynona (Dale Evans), Karen Newman of Duncan, Robert Newman of Oklahoma City and Richard (Mary Kay Newman). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
