With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Henry Moody in Duncan, Oklahoma, born in Marlow, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on April 17, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Forrest Moody and Myrtle Moody; and his wife Effie Aline Benton. He is survived by : his daughters, Janey Outlan (Booth) of Hartsburg and JoEtta Matos (Brian) of Bloomington, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Tyler Matos (Nathalie Forney), Karsen Matos and Ryley Matos; and his great grandchildren, Tyler and Cooper Matos.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitt Funeral Home (4748 US-81, Duncan, OK 73533). Viewing was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the TBD Marlow Cemetery (903 N Ash St, Marlow, OK 73055).
