He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arnold and Bobbie Jean Stroud (Melton); his grandparents, Claude (Dadaw) and Viola; and his wife Letha Diane Stroud (Ford).

He is survived by: his children, Christopher (Alissa Beck) of Broken Arrow, Robert (Courtney "Paige" Stroud) of Duncan, Jeremy Stroud of Arkansas and Alicia Koenke of Edmond; his grandchildren, Briana Heilman, Kambri Williams, Scarlett Koenke, Paige Beck, Kena Beck, Magnolia Stroud, Poplar Stroud and Otto Stroud; his siblings-in-law, Debbie and Greg Tucker; his nephews, Derek, Cambra Tucker, Chase and Emmaline Tucker; and his great-nephew Andrew Almany.
