Kent Careathers Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 3, 2026, at the age of 75, Kent Careathers (Duncan, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Audie Lee Careathers and Billy Dean Careathers; and his grandson Clinton Chisolm. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Careathers of Marlow, OK; his daughter Julie Byrd (Charles) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Wesley Byrd and Nikki Byrd; his son Shane Careathers (Alicia) of Duncan; his grandchildren, Brandon Careathers (Desirea) of Duncan and Rebekah Dunn (Amber) of Duncan; his great grandchildren, Bradon Careathers, Daxton Careathers, Rosie Dunn and Scarlett Dunn; and his sisters, Nancy Headrick of Haslet, TX and Dr. Sherry Martin (Al) of Edmond, OK. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
