She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Sr. Dodson and Ila Dodson; her brothers, Marshall Dodson, Jr. and Quinton Douglas Dodson; and her son Terry Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Sheppeard, Melvin Sheppeard and Orval Edwin Jones (Lily). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home (1316 W Oak Ave, Duncan, OK 73533). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Letitia Cemetery.
