We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2023, at the age of 92, LaWayne Everett Jones in Duncan, Oklahoma, born in Canute, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Everett "L. E." and Annetta Elaine Jones (Gilliam); and his sisters, Donna Lea Jones and Otha Lea Jones. He is survived by: his close friend Debra Schwartz; his children, Lance Jones (Nancy) of Duncan, Lana Elliott (Randy) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Glinda McPhail of Tulsa and Sherri D'Amato; his grandchildren, Landon Jones, Carter Jones, Noah Jones, Elaine Elliott, Anna Elliott, Everett McPhail, Harry McPhail, Sal C. D'Amato and Shelby D'Amato; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Gabriel, Michael and Luxington.
