He was predeceased by: his father Rodney Lee Knight; and his grandparents, Gib Sr., Mildred Knight, Carmel and Dorothy Greer.

He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Knight (Greer) of Duncan, Oklahoma; his sister Monica Huffaker (Curtiss) of Duncan, Oklahoma; and his nephew Clint Huffaker of Duncan.

“Marcus was an amazing friend. I met him while we were coaching together at Newkirk in 2015. He was a man that was always willing to help out. After we both left Newkirk, we kept in touch until his time of passing. We talked sports often and shared a love of the Dallas Cowboys. I will miss our conversations and his infectious laugh.
