It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Evelyn Wilson (Duncan, Oklahoma), born in Crosbyton, Texas, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ryther and Vera Ryther (Smothers); her husband Wayne Wilson; and her sister Gerry Riddle. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon (Johnny Rue) of Duncan; her grandchildren, Angie (Mitch Wolfe) of Henrietta and Bryan Scott Rue of Mustang, Oklahoma; her great grandchildren, Martin (Tara Wolfe) of Henrietta and Hunter Wolfe of Wichita Falls, Texas; her great great grandchild Preston Bailey Wolfe; her nieces, Linda Rollins of St. Louis and Kim Dixon of Duncan; and her nephew Lynn Wilson of Duncan.
Memorial contributions can be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Benevolence Fund and the Stephens County Humane Society.
