It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Molly Mae Carter of Duncan, Oklahoma, born in Pittsburg, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee and Thelma Marie Barnes (Wilmoth); her sons, D. L. Carter Jr. and William Dale Carter; her grandson Jessy Ray Lemons; and her sisters, Katherine McBride, Janet Nelson and Diana Tabor.
She is survived by: her husband D. L. Carter; her children, Clyde Blaine Carter (Pam) of Yukon and Susan Elizabeth Lemons of Duncan; her grandchildren, Molly Minkerna (Matt), Nicolle Carter, Ashley Steadman (Justin), Meagan Carter and Shawn Carter; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Buerker, Everett Minkema, Theodore Minkema, Makynzi Steadman, Rylee Steadman, Isabella Carter of Dakota, Carter, Claire Carter, Brody Carter and Stetson Carter.
