He was predeceased by : his parents, Alejandro Esparza and Candelaria Esparza; his children, Brent Eugene Coleman and Debra Denise Brown; and his siblings, Alexander Esparza, Willie Esparza, Josephine Flores, Rita Vargas and Bertha Corrales.

He is survived by : his wife Melba Ruth Jones; his children, Brenda Rayna Esparza-Matthews and Teah Ruth Esparza (James Mosley); his grandchildren, Ashley Dawn Kendrick, Timothy Kendrick, Shanika, Seth Lovett and Justin Young; his great grandchildren, Brayden Falconer, Madison Kendrick, Lyric Kendrick, Asher Lovett, Zara Lovett, Serene Lovett, Kayla Young, Kelsey Young, Zadriana Young and Velora Young; and his son-in-law Tommy Brown.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitt Funeral Home (4748 US-81, Duncan, OK 73533). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel (4748 US-81, Duncan, OK 73533). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at the TBD Marlow Cemetery (903 N Ash St, Marlow, OK 73055).
