He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glenn and Lura Glenn; his son William "Billy" Glenn; and his siblings, Norval, Jesse, Haskell and Maxine.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his sons, Richard Glenn, Jr. (Carol) of Velma and John Glenn (Renee) of Duncan, Oklahoma.; his sister Beulah Woods of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Allen Glenn of Velma, Brenda Thompson (Sparky) of Velma, Christopher Yarbrough (Hannah) of Oklahoma City, Rebekah Glenn, John Glenn, Jr. and Joshua Glenn of Duncan; and his great grandchildren, Kassidee Thompson, Paisley Thompson and Mabree Thompson of Velma, Oklahoma..
