He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Jr. and Geraldine Shaw (Dutton); and his grandchildren, Zackary Brown and Evan Michaels. He is survived by: his partner Deandrea Cotter; his children, Bradley Cotter, Michael Sanders, Wesley Shaw, Katrina Sanders, Joanna Sanders-Branch, Desaree N. Cotter and Shanda Kay Michaels; and his brother Billy Shaw. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
