With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Lorraine Howell-Wade (Duncan, Oklahoma), who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Jones and Emma Jones (Fowler); her former husband Larry Howell; her grandson Brandon Reese; and her siblings, Gene Paul, Philip, Preston, Jerry, Lanny, Charles, Mildred June and Ruthie.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Wade; her children, Bret (Tracy Howell), Shana Howell, Kimberly (Gary Moore), Sherrie (James Miller) and Stephanie (Waid Roland); and her grandchildren, Zach (Samantha), Tyler, Kyle, Derrick, Jameson, Jacoby, Skyllar and MeKailyn. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Whitt Funeral Home (4748 US-81, Duncan, OK 73533). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hope Church (281300 E 1790 Rd, Comanche, OK 73533). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the TBD Fairlawn Cemetery.
