It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Waldo in Duncan, Oklahoma, born in Wichita Falls, Texas, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sternadel and Wanda Sternadel (Gibbons); her brother Steven Sternadel; her aunt Mary Lyons; and her brother-in-law Kenny Willis.
She is survived by: her husband James Douthit; her children, Andrew Waldo (Jessika) of Empire and Amanda Rico (Daniel) of Albuquerque, NM; her grandchildren, Serenity Underwood, Paisley Waldo and Parker Waldo; and her siblings, Todd Alpers (LeAnn) of Broken Arrow, Alan Sternadel (Janice) of Duncan, Leslie Obel (Klaus) of Scottsdale, AZ and Debbie Willis of Marlow. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stephens County Humane Society.
