With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Stella Ray Brooks (Duncan, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Stella left this world on May 18, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Ray Goodman and Lela Lee Goodman (Goodwin); her grandchildren, Jeremy Chad Brooks, Christina Jean Brooks, Wade Austin Brooks and Casey Akins; and her brothers, Edsel, Gene, Harvey and Paul Goodman.
She is survived by: her children, Weldon A. Brooks Jr. (Kathy), Dan G. Brooks (Sheila) and Deidria Brooks Ketchum; and her grandchildren, Trey Brooks, Wynne Ann Ellis, Beverly Brooke Ketchum and Xan E. Ketchum. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Oklahoma Medical Society for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the Christina Brooks Scholarship Foundation at Southern Nazarene University, Bethany, OK.
