He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shoemaker-Vrooman and Elene Pearline Shoemaker-Vrooman (Kiesinger); his brother Robert Shoemaker; and his parents-in-law, Veral and Margie Blue.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Jo Blue; his children, Tom Shoemaker (Sam), Chris Shoemaker and Debby Smith (Derrick); his grandchildren, Austin Shoemaker, Blyden Shoemaker, Aleighya Shoemaker, JoJo Shoemaker and Daisy Smith; and his siblings, Michael Shoemaker, Deborah Kuhn and Connie Brinkman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
