Though Whitten may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Whitten touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parent Kathy Monroe (Adams); his stepfather Gerald Monroe; his grandparents, Susan Adams and JD Adams; and his uncle John Adams.

He is survived by: his son Draven; his siblings, Kristina McNutt (Jason) and Zachary Monroe; his niece Kirsten McNutt; and his nephew Rowdy McNutt.
