He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse George and Gertrude George; his wife Mary; his son Roy Allen George; and his siblings, Armon George, Gerald George, James George, Viola Barber and Dorothy Sheppeard.
He is survived by: his sisters, Ruth Norton, Linda Bates, Laura Blore and Carolyn Phillips; his daughters, Robbin Smith (Donald Powell) and Debbie Aragon (Phillip); and his grandchildren, Joseph George, Darell George, Dino Sanchez, Joshua Sanchez, James Glenn Smith and Abbye Lauren Mershawn. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and many beloved extended family members and friends.
