He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Coy and Malissie Hensley; his parents, Mary Belle (Young) and James "Pete" Hensley; his spouse El Frieda Cook; and his friend Haskell McFatridge.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lawanda Hamer of Duncan and Sharon McFerron of Norman; his grandchildren, Tiffany Blackwell Cole (Hamer), Hattie Demirjian (McFerron) and Samuel McFerron; his great grandchildren, Hanna, Jaxon, Grayson Blackwell and Ayah Demirjian; his siblings, Ruth Kelly of Duncan and Jim; and his sister-in-law Julia Hensley of Lake Havasu, AZ..
