He is survived by: his siblings, Ervin McCarty, Kirvin McCarty, Jerrie Hankins and Mary McCalib; his children, William "Turk" James McCarty and Melissa Gilliam; his grandchildren, Jessica Wagoner, Hayley Wagoner Crisp and William Daniel McCarty; his great grandchildren, Skylar, Karleigh, Rylan and Liam; and his great-nephew Terry Doggett.
