He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Adams and Doris "Dottie" Shelton; his sisters, Linda Menefee and Susan Wingate; and his father-in-law Jerry Downs.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Downs; his children, Billy Adams, Misty Adams of Mead, Brenda Brown (Justin) of Atoka, Courtney Morales-Giles (Robbie) of Colbert and Shawn Morales (Amber) of Durant; his sisters, Darlene Cook (Jerry Don) and Marlene Epperson; and his mother-in-law Yvonne Downs. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
