He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Emerson and Mildred Emerson; his wife Patsy; his children, Doyne Emerson and Pat Emerson; and his sister Delores.
He is survived by: his sons, Keith Emerson of Caddo, OK and Darius Emerson; his brother Cecil Emerson of Ft. Worth, TX; and his stepdaughter Ruth Ann Kirk. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and numerous extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service - Durant (4900 W Hwy 70, Durant, OK 74701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
