He was predeceased by: his brother James Paul Yates; his grandparents, Edward Leon Yates, James Cubby Owens and Dee Owens; and his great-grandparents, Arthur and Dellamae Yates.
He is survived by: his parents, Nina Crystal Darlene Yates (Owens) of Farris, OK and Terry Don Yates (Lynn) of Talihina, OK; his grandmother Georgia Yates of Lane, OK; his siblings, Ashley Yates of Atoka, OK and Eric Hunt (Kassi) of Atoka, OK; and his aunts and uncles, Tommy Yates of Boswell, OK, Larry Owens of Centerpoint, OK, Clifton Owens of Centerpoint, OK, Janice Chavers (Robert) of Ardmore, OK and Loretta Reeves (Billy) of Stringtown, OK. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
