She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Allen and Mary Francis Allen (McCafferty); and her granddaughter Anna Beighley. She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" McDonough (Karen) of Calera and Kelly Beighley (Rory) of Bemidji. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous friends.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to The American Cancer society and the Alzheimer's Association.
