We bid farewell to Charlene Mills in Durant, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Charlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her former husband Edward Andrew; her husband Reverend Robert Mills; her parents, Joseph Lewis Whitworth and Sarah Lillie Hardiman-Whitworth; her siblings, Odie Lloyd Whitworth, Joseph Lewis Whitworth Jr., Artie Hansel Whitworth and Aaron Gomer Whitworth; and also Brett Egert.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Whitworth-Penuel, Vera Whitworth-Williams, James Otto Whitworth, Joseph Clyde Whitworth, Kaygan Staton, Karrington Staton, Lincoln Staton, Camden Morgan and Blaine Morgan; her children, Gerald and Pamela Whitworth of Glenpool; her grandchildren, Jeremy and Tiffany Whitworth of Kiefer; her son Ian Whitworth of Glenpool; her grandchildren, Jackson Whitworth and Sara Winfrey; her children, Russell and Penney Andrew of Fort Worth, Texas.; and also, Dean, DiAnn Mills of Houston, Ben, Machille Egert, Brian, Maria Egert, Beau, Allison Egert, Grace Egert, Lane Egert, Ruby Egert, Wesley, Roberta Morgan of Marietta, David, Kim Staton, Chris and Toni Morgan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (1620 Cemetery Rd, Durant, OK 74701).
