He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Shomo and Nellie Shomo (Gipson); and his siblings, Margie Going, Betty McKinney, Johnny and Virgil Shomo.
He is survived by: his wife Gay Dawn Shomo of Durant; his children, Marjorie Shomo of Durant, OK, Mandi (Mike Adams), Stanley "Junior" (Shonda Shomo), Jennifer (DJ Vaughn) and Clarissa (Lamont Frazier); and his siblings, Barbara Tonihka of Broken Bow, OK, Linda Hernandez of Mount Pleasant, TX, Robert Shomo, Jimmy Shomo, Marcus Shomo and David Shomo of Broken Bow, OK.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
