We announce the death of Frances Evelyn Stringfellow Orndorff (Durant, Oklahoma), who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lola Mae Greer (Page) and Gus Sims Greer; her daughter Linda Kathryn Stringfellow; her sons-in-law, John Timmons and David Lyday; and her grandsons, John Wesley Ray Pruitt, Jason Edward Trumbo and Brian Mark Toth.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Lazenby of Coleman, OK, Paula Timmons of Afton, OK, Joel Stringfellow of Aubrey, TX, Connie Toth (Ricky) of Pottsboro, TX, Bonnie Thompson (Cletus) of Denison, TX, Carroll Stringfellow of Sherman, TX, Curtis Stringfellow (Hayley) of Calera, OK, Kate Weaver (Greg) of Denison, TX and Donnie Lyday of Greensburg, LA; her sister Barbara Bates (Bud) of Goose Creek, SC; and her sister-in-law Lois Greer of Burleson, TX. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service - Durant (4900 W Hwy 70, Durant, OK 74701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
